Wadwick Green Bowls (Indoors & Grass)
A site for making the most of the new bowls facilities at our wonderful retirement village
Firstly, we need to thank the Village Management and the Sponsors on making this significant investment and the build team
On this site we are looking to gain a view of how the residents want to set up to extend the playing of short mat bowls to creating the practice and play on the new grass green once it has matured enough this year
There are some key options needed from our bowlers
1. Do you want to just do roll-ups or play some light ‘matches’?
2. Other than our own woods, what minimal equipment will we need? (Outdoor Jacks? Rink Markers? Mats? Pushers? Other kit?)
3. And a convenient weatherproof store by the Green?
4. What to do about a simple rink booking system so we can maximise the use from April to September
5. What other ideas do you have?
